Authentic Heirloom IP
Every silhouette, signature cut, and lookbook creation is protected under proprietary atelier intellectual property.
Secure Commercial Payments
Card transactions are processed via 256-bit encrypted PayHere gateways. Bank transfers verified manually.
Islandwide Doorstep Delivery
Inspected and hand-packaged in signature Lumi Jewells boxes with direct door-to-door insured transit.
1. Agreement & Commercial Scope
Contractual Scope
These Business Terms & Conditions ('Terms') govern all interactions, purchases, and commercial engagements with Lumi Jewells (Pvt) Ltd ('Lumi Jewells', 'we', 'our', or 'the Atelier') through our digital platform (lumijewells.com) and client concierge channels.
Client Acceptance
By browsing our digital collection, placing an order, registering for bespoke tailoring, or interacting with our concierge, you unequivocally accept and agree to be bound by these Terms in full.
Eligibility & Age Requirement
You must be at least 18 years of age or possess legal parental/guardian consent to enter into commercial transactions and submit payment details on our platform.
Amendments & Notices
We reserve the right to revise these Terms periodically. Substantive updates will be published with an updated effective date. Continued engagement constitutes full acceptance of updated terms.
2. Intellectual Property & Design Copyright
Proprietary Creations
All bespoke silhouettes, pattern drafting, lookbook imagery, textile designs, brand marks, and digital assets are the exclusive intellectual property of Lumi Jewells (Pvt) Ltd.
Counterfeiting Prohibition
Any reproduction, imitation, commercial replication, reverse engineering, or unauthorized distribution of our garments or design patterns is strictly prohibited and subject to legal injunction.
Serial Certificate Protection
Each authentic Lumi Jewells creation carries a distinct serial certificate recorded in our national verification database (/verify). Forgery or unauthorized transfer of verification codes is strictly punishable by law.
Editorial & Media Rights
Images and creative media published on our platform may not be utilized for third-party commercial advertisements, synthetic generation, or reseller promotions without written license.
3. Orders, Pricing & Payment Terms
Order Acceptance & Review
All placed orders are subject to atelier inventory confirmation and artisan quality inspection. We reserve the right to decline or cancel orders with immediate notice in cases of inventory limitation or pricing errors.
Transparent Pricing
All displayed prices are quoted in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) with dynamic conversion for international currencies (USD, EUR, GBP). Applicable courier rates are calculated and itemized clearly at checkout.
Card & Installment Gateways
We support Visa, MasterCard, and American Express via PCI-DSS compliant PayHere modal encryption, alongside official BNPL installments via Koko and Mintpay.
Bank Transfer Proof
For Direct Bank Deposits, orders are placed in reservation status pending receipt verification. Customers must attach or WhatsApp the deposit receipt within 24 hours to secure dispatch.
4. Bespoke Sizing & Custom Alterations
Atelier Size Standards
Garment measurements conform to our published Size Guide. As each heirloom piece is individually artisan-crafted, subtle micro-tolerances (+/- 0.5 inches) may naturally occur.
Custom Bespoke Tailoring
Custom-tailored or personalized pieces produced according to client-provided body measurements are non-refundable once cutting commences, but qualify for complimentary fitting adjustments.
Measurement Accuracy
The client bears responsibility for ensuring accuracy when submitting custom fit specifications or consulting with our concierge stylists.
Complimentary Alterations
Minor fit adjustments requested within 7 days of initial delivery are honored at our Colombo atelier to guarantee silhouette perfection.
5. Dispatch, Shipping & Transit Risk
Islandwide Delivery Window
Standard deliveries across Sri Lanka are accomplished within 2 to 3 business days following artisan packaging and quality sign-off.
Insured Heirloom Transit
Every garment is encased in protective atelier covers and signature presentation packaging. Shipments are fully insured against transit loss or catastrophic courier damage.
Doorstep Handover
Delivery is officially complete upon recipient handover and signature or courier delivery confirmation at the address designated during checkout.
Delivery Failure / Redirection
If delivery cannot be completed due to inaccurate recipient coordinates or prolonged client unreachability, re-dispatch charges may be assessed.
6. Returns, Exchanges & Store Credit
7-Day Exchange Window
Unworn, unwashed garments with security ribbon and atelier tags intact may be exchanged within 7 calendar days of receipt in accordance with our Return Policy.
Atelier Store Credit
Approved returns qualify for 100% store credit issued immediately with zero deductions, valid for 12 months across all seasonal collections.
Card Refund Processing
Direct card refunds via PayHere are processed to the source payment method within 5–7 business days, minus standard courier handling expenses.
Defective Arrival Priority
In the unlikely event an item arrives with transit damage, clients must contact our concierge within 48 hours for immediate priority replacement.
7. Commercial Resellers & Partner Code
Accredited Resellers
Only partners approved through our authorized Reseller Portal (/reseller) are entitled to wholesale pricing tiers and approved marketing assets.
MAP Pricing Policy
Resellers must maintain Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) to safeguard brand equity and luxury client trust across regional markets.
Revocation of Status
Lumi Jewells reserves the authority to immediately revoke reseller privileges and restrict inventory access for breach of quality standards or brand disparagement.
Direct Client Relationship
Warranty, serial authentication, and customer service obligations remain tied to the registered serial certificate holder.
8. Limitation of Liability & Governing Law
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Lumi Jewells' aggregate liability for any claim arising from purchase shall not exceed the actual purchase price paid for the garment.
Jurisdiction & Governing Law
These Terms and all disputes arising hereunder shall be governed by and interpreted exclusively in accordance with the substantive laws of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka.
Dispute Resolution
Any dispute or claim shall first be submitted to good-faith amicable mediation through our legal counsel in Colombo before initiating formal judicial proceedings.
Severability
If any clause in these Terms is declared void or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
